Last weekend, my family was in North Dakota for my cousin's wedding. I haven't taken our kids to many weddings...actually only one ceremony and two other receptions...weddings are hard with small children! But I knew that Sammy would LOVE going to the reception and dance. As you can tell, she had a BALL!
She spent most of the night with another 3 1/2 year old named Kaylee. Those girls were like two peas in a pod. They were inseparable and didn't do ANYTHING without the other. It was the sweetest thing.
When it came time to tell Sammy we were going home...around 10:30, she begged to see her friend the next day. She invited her to come to Grandma's house and play with her. Her friendship with Kaylee was fast and true.
They accepted one another fully, played happily with no argument, and loved each other completely.

Oh, that we adults would learn something from these precious children.
